If you're facing an issue with a new or used vehicle and aren't fully satisfied, we recommend starting by contacting your dealer. Whether it's a defect, repair, warranty concern, or other matter, your dealer is often best positioned to find a reasonable solution.
If you’re unable to find a satisfactory solution after this initial step, the Vermont Automotive Consumer Action Program (AutoCAP) may be able to help. A complaint is eligible for a panel hearing unless it is resolved, withdrawn, or falls under one of the limitations or requirements listed under What is AUTOCAP.
